Application of all kinds of spring steel wire

Spring steel wire is a kind of steel wire mainly used as spring or steel wire part. According to the different uses of spring, spring wire products are divided into many types. Such as the spring steel wire for mattress spring, spring steel wire for shock absorber, spring steel wire for suspension spring, spring steel wire for engine valve and spring steel wire for camera shutter, etc.

Carbon spring steel wire is the most widely used and most widely used steel among all spring steel wires. Among them, the steel contains 0.6% ~ 0.9% carbon and 0.3% ~ 1.2% manganese without other alloy elements, so the production cost is relatively low.

Piano steel wire is cold drawn after lead quenching, which has very high strength limit and elastic limit. It is widely used for small spring data. Its hardness range is 41-60 and the allowable temperature is 120 degrees. Besides tensile test, torsion, corrosion and sharp carbon tests are also needed. According to its application, it can be divided into piano steel wire used for manufacturing various important springs, various high stress mechanical springs and vamp springs.

Cold deformation strengthening steel wire, also known as cold drawn spring steel wire. The cold drawn carbon spring steel wire is first quenched with lead to obtain sorbite structure, and then the surface is phosphated. The steel wire is drawn to the finished product size with a large reduction rate. The steel wire structure is fibrous, with high tensile strength and elastic limit, and good bending and torsion properties.

Lead bath quenching process is commonly used in carbon steel spring steel wire, which can obtain very fine pearlite structure (sorbite). It is beneficial to improve deep drawing performance and spring performance. The replacement process of lead bath fluidized bed has not been popularized, and it has been applied in some small diameter steel wires. The alloy steel wire is generally annealed to make the microstructure adapt to drawing deformation.
