How to deal with the problem of precision shrapnel deformation
The after-sales manufacturer of the shrapnel reported that the precision shrapnel was deformed by manual operation. The customer asked our engineer if he could help solve it.
After the engineer’s analysis, the reason for the failure is: the customer needs to manually install the precision shrapnel in the equipment assembled by the customer. Because the shrapnel is too precise, manual operation will cause the shrapnel to deform. The solution is to randomly design a positioning material belt in the shrapnel design, and the manual operation of taking the material belt will not cause deformation.
The design plan given by the engineer is: based on the structural characteristics of the customer’s shrapnel, the design structure is that the shrapnel is evenly arranged in a row, and one end of the shrapnel is connected to the side of the positioning belt; a positioning device should be provided in the belt. The number of positioning strips is two positioning, which are respectively distributed at the front and rear ends of the elastic sheet. There should be more than one protruding part on the side of the positioning material belt, and the shrapnel should have more than one protruding part for one-to-one connection (the number of positioning devices is more than one, and the shrapnel should be arranged one-to-one). The connection between the elastic piece and the positioning tape can be a broken connection. The positioning device is a circular positioning hole that matches the positioning column on the device. The structure of the shrapnel and the material belt is integrally formed.
